Seasoned Mastodon users: sometimes people connect to me from other instances, but I can't see their posts unless I travel to the instance they're from. So far, so good. But then, if I ever want to interact with their toots (even just boost them), I have to create an account on that instance. So for me to grow in interactions myself, isn't it (painfully) essential to be constantly present as users in other instances too? I fear the answer might be yes 💀
