We have proof that we do not live in a democracy when there is the possibility of declaring states of emergency that overthrow all existing laws and give the state the status of a legally sanctioned dictator.

Is this democracy?

Nope. Is not.

Nope, and that’s what they want

I know it is a rhetorical question. As Hayek used to say, democracy is only a way to decide things. The rule of law is more important. Thus our liberties cannot be taken away, no matter the reason. When the government uses the law to take our liberty this is also tyranny.
