Help me out here.

How does one feel strongly about Jesus? How does one have a personal relationship with Christ?

In general I feel very little or nothing when I think about god and he exists to me more as a vague concept.

Any advice?

In my experience develop the qualities you so admire about Jesus/God in yourself and through this your relationship is revealed and strengthened.

There is no separation.

When you develop uncover these qualities within you pay homage to Jesus/God in knowledge and action.
