One of my favorite books is by Jill Bolte Taylor Ph.D. called, My Stroke of Insight. One of the best takeaways is the fact that 'when a person has a reaction to something in their environment, there's a 90 second chemical process that happens in the body; after that, any remaining emotional response is just the person choosing to stay in that emotional loop.' #90secondrule

So if the stimulus is something like frustration or anger, one should stay calm for atleast 90 seconds? Mmmmmh, that sounds pretty wholesome.
