I guess that depends on your “too many” threshold. I admit it would occur occasionally in person. Probably more in recent years because of the increasing perceived value in virtue signaling. But I’d wager it happens at least 10x more online.

I respectfully disagree that social media is *only* a megaphone. There is virtually zero cost to typing terrible things to people online. That cost rises exponentially when you say those same things to someone’s face.
