Borobudur Temple in Central Java, Indonesia, is a breathtaking 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist monument. It spans roughly 123 meters on each side, forming a vast square platform.

Rising over 35 meters high, Borobudur consists of nine stacked platforms: six square and three circular, topped by a central dome.

Its intricate stone carvings, covering around 2,500 square meters, depict teachings from Buddhist scriptures and daily life scenes, guiding visitors in a symbolic path from the earthly realm to spiritual enlightenment.

Adorned with 72 stupas, each housing a Buddha statue, Borobudur remains one of the world's most extraordinary ancient architectural achievements.
