Legal tender is not the same as making it legal to buy and sell Bitcoin and allow exchanges to operate in Taiwan under strict regulations. I have not seen any information on making BTC legal tender.

I'm pretty sure #Japan made it legal tender way back. Even before El Salvador. 2017 I think
