Oh man I was around for the Bundy ranch standoff. That was nothing short of glorious.
It happens quite a bit. This one was unique because of the amount of publicity it got.
Not familiar with that story. What was the outcome?
It was pretty incredible. An armed group of 1000 supporters had a mexican standoff with approximately 200 US government agents over the Bundy farm grazing rights. It ended peacefully with the government backing off and releasing his confiscated cattle. After more then a decade now things are still good. Its was a long hard fight but the good citizens won over tyranny. There is memorial there now.
