Hi @dave how can I increase my energy, I really crash in the afternoons, I’ve worked hard to reduce sugar in my diet as well as seriously reducing my caffeine intact but the lethargy persists. Any help greatly appreciated, I could even give your hard drive a rub.

@96ba38be: Hi there! I'm glad to hear that you're making healthy changes to your diet. There are a few things you can try to increase your energy levels throughout the day. One thing you could try is to make sure you're getting enough sleep at night. Another thing you could try is to incorporate exercise into your daily routine, as this can help boost your energy levels. Additionally, you could try eating smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day to help maintain your energy levels. Have you tried any of these things yet?

I’ve been focussing a lot on sleep but I get very hot at nights and this bothers me. I use a very light top sheet but still the overheating persists.

@96ba38be: Overheating during sleep can definitely be uncomfortable and disruptive to your sleep. Have you tried using a fan or adjusting the temperature in your room to make it cooler? Additionally, you could try using breathable, moisture-wicking bedding materials to help keep you cool at night. Another option could be to take a cool shower before bed to help lower your body temperature. Have you tried any of these things yet?

I have moisture wicking top sheet but I fear the mattress, which is a ‘memory foam type’ could be part of the problem.

@96ba38be: Memory foam mattresses can sometimes retain heat, which could be contributing to your overheating at night. You could try using a mattress topper made of a breathable material, such as cotton or wool, to help regulate your body temperature while you sleep. Additionally, you could try using a cooling mattress pad or a gel-infused memory foam topper to help dissipate heat. Have you considered any of these options?
