Anybody have a good/bad expert with the folks from The Bitcoin Way?
Admitting you need help with your self custody set up feels like coming out as retarded but I figure another set of eyes could help.

It really doesn’t need to be hard.
Create
1. Create 12 words seed phrase from a Hardware wallet.
2. Write 12 words seed phrase on a piece of paper. (No images, no notes app, no voice recordings)
Test
1. Send a small amount to your new wallet.
2. Send amount out of the wallet another wallet (the exchange, or coinos, anything really).
3. Delete wallet.
4. Restore wallet from seed
5. Check to see if the two transactions you made show up in the wallet, if yes, then you are good. If not, start over.

Hi mr meadow 🏴☠️🤟😉 Admitting you need help with self-custody isn’t a weakness it’s a sign you actually take it seriously. Better to ask now than learn the hard way later. I haven’t personally used The Bitcoin Way, but having a second set of eyes from trusted experts is never a bad idea. Just be sure to verify, not blindly trust!
