Information explosion is consuming our time faster than normal. Distraction and distortion levels are quite high. The gadgets that rule our lives are signs of the times that we live in. We cannot escape them. We cannot avoid them. Hence we need to increase our willpower to discriminate, to prevent us from slipping all the way into the whirlpool of helpless addiction.
