It’s been 3 months since my Daisy passed. Not sure when this sadness goes away, but nothing seems to help. I’ve dealt with atleast two handfuls of deaths in my life. Many funerals. Many moments of grief. Somehow this pain, this grief, grieving my first dog, it’s honestly like nothing I could have imagined. If anyone is taking a shot/toke tonight, please take one for my sweet angel. xo

I miss you babygirl. I hope you’re still running along side me.

Dear Emmy,

I'm so very sorry for your loss.πŸ˜’πŸ«‚ We have lost beloved pets as well, and so I sympathize deeply.πŸ«‚πŸ«‚πŸ«‚

My friend Amy once compiled a lovely collection of Scriptures that I share with you now in the hope that it may bring you some measure of comfort...

Jesus our Creator God has a very high regard for our animals, as I pray you will clearly see when you read this.πŸ’–πŸ˜„πŸ’œ

Duncan, thank you for your kindness. I truly appreciate you πŸ™πŸΌ That was quite comforting to read and ponder. Most notably Romans 8:18-23.

If I may ask, do you still own pets now?

You are more than welcome, Emmy.

Yes, we do for now...πŸ˜ƒ
