I don’t think block works for this. There is no cost to create accounts and beggar accounts usually have no contents. Global is Wild West with no rules. I would just build feed by choosing whom to follow.

i disagree, in the beginning of a new social network you should follow as many people as possible, this boosts who can see news/notes a lot. Also brings more people in because they see some action. But if they face only baggers/gold diggers that is a problem. Therefore it is much better to (in case you did) unfollow those people, then block them. In this case new users dont have to do as much work.
