I was going to implement something like this. Not sure how it will work yet.

Perhaps someone already in types /invite npub and then that person gets invited?

Don’t have to be two, but there has to be some limit, otherwise one bad actor could just invite everyone

Actually now that I think about it someone could get unlimited invites just by making new keys and inviting them lol. So i guess there would have to be some mechanism to curb that. Idk

Don’t get me wrong, I like the invite two people rule. It causes the network graph to be a binary tree!

I thought of a solution to the unlimited invite problem. You only get to invite if you’re invite is within x degrees of the first inviter. That would also set a hard cap on the number of total users on the relay

The max # of users would be 2^0 + 2^1 + 2^2 … + 2^x
