I wonder why people care so much and also why is common to care about in bitcoin space (as it seems). Can’t bring it together. Why is it so important?

Kinda, I was just curious. I think for most of humans it’s all clear but for some percentage it’s not. There’s lot of stuff that can happen till the baby pops out, Turner syndrome or AIS for example. Chromosomes, hormones an genitalia not “matching”, so someone has to define, what criteria is it that makes a man or woman. But I got no clue, just wondering why people care so much.
