It may sound counter-intuitive, but the highest pleasures are associated with simple living, peace, and asceticism. Epicurus wrote about this, and I agree with him on this point.

I did not aim to compare, but rather to show that opposite concepts can be interconnected and support each other. The equal sign here should not be perceived as a mathematical symbol
