What I think is scarier is all of the people on this thread that lined up behind Odell to say how scary it is. Learn to think for yourselves. There is nothing scary about the man who owns Twitter making an account named America written in gold, quoting himself, citing the Washington Examiner. What if that account named America in gold said something provocative without citation? Would you just automatically believe thatās national policy or position? No. Get out of your āall things BTC religionā and think for yourself.

Thank you for being willing to make a comment like this. Even āfreedom mindedā people who think theyāre better than others are just as susceptible to echo chambers as the people they try to condescend to. Sadly, from my perception, most of the biggest names on Nostr all do this.
Thank you for the kind words. Iāve noticed that youāre not well received in the virtual Bitcoin space if you point out any issues among the community (i.e. Lightening Network has tons of flaws for scaling and suggest another project that fits the same mold as BTC, but scales-Kaspa). I love BTC. I buy it every week. But critical thinking is what led me here. It shouldnāt get thrown out the window once you arrive.
The issue is that he didn't make it. He stole it. Just like he can steal any other handle, without disclosing that he has siezed control over it. The scenario described by Odell isn't that far fetched considering the mental status of the dopehead that owns and runs Xitter as his own little pet world.
Who did he steal it from?
Not sure but the original handle has been replaced with america123_12. Not quite the same.
Haha itās laughable that you accuse him of stealing something, but thereās no victim, because you donāt know who he stole from?? If all weāre doing is playing the āwhat ifā game regarding all the deep fakes Elon COULD do, then letās play that game. But donāt pretend that because he used a handle called āAmericaā, written in gold, he all of the sudden speaks for America on all issues and could start WWIII.
