US and Japan M2 Money Supply Cumulative Inflation - Post-Covid

The M2 money supply in the US has been decreasing for 9 consecutive months now (as of April).

This marks the longest period of consecutive monthly decreases in M2 since 1959.

Furthermore, the year-over-year decrease for April was the largest in history, reaching -4.6%.

On the other hand, the M2 in Japan reached an all-time high in April. 😮‍💨

There are several reasons why the JPY is weakening against the USD and other currencies.

In the end, all fiat currencies go to zero.
