Have you gone down the rabbit hole of refilling your own toner? I'm giving serious consideration to jumping in the DIY game. Saw a video on YouTube. Guy literally just drills a hole in the cartridge and pours the powder in and tapes over the hole. Then my printer has a secret menu to reset the counter.
My last research led me to considering the EcoTank series by Epson. Did you come across them?
