Replying to Avatar Uno

Yeah, I respect people's right to mute who they want, also for some reason people think that if someone mutes them it means the person has something against them or hates them now, I mute people sometimes but don't mean anything by it.

Yeah. Sometimes people go on a posting streak of content I don’t care to see and I just want a temporary mute. Damus implemented this but it doesn’t seem to work.

I’m also probably guilty of posting crap people don’t want to see like … flowers, generated illustrations, etc… I am aware that people may not care for it and may even want to mute it for some time until I snap out of it 😆 and I’m totally ok with that. Doesn’t mean people are not your friends.

Exactly 💯, people don't need to get all stressed about it, most the time when I mute someone it's either content I don't care to see or repeated posting so much it fills up my feed to the point I can't see anything else, or people who go through my profile and like everything in one go, most the time I unmute these people later.
