this is my 4m Minke mk1. now working on a 8m ship which will have solar cells for extended flight endurance, and hopefully better power for handling autonomous flight outside.

How does it perform in the wind? You probably just have to work with the currents instead of trying to fight them?
Also, the foliage looks like Australia?
Oh also, are you using something like ardupilot?
yep, pixhawk/ardupilot have been good to me so far. but i’m working on moving to this https://github.com/nickrehm/dRehmFlight
20km/h and above winds are deadly for these smaller ships. and yes, this is in melbourne.
