Oh man, just clicked "Follow All" on iris, and my following count went up from 900 to 1150. That means I picked up 250 followers since I last checked. Sweet. I maintain that I will try to follow back everyone who follows me. It hasn't affected my feed, following this many. My feed is strong like bull! Better than my Twitter feed.
