The Gayer-Anderson Cat

Also known as the Bastet Cat, this ancient #Egyptian bronze statue is a representation of the goddess Bastet in the form of a seated cat. Dating back to around 600 BC, it is currently housed in the British Museum and is considered one of the finest examples of Egyptian art.
