AFAIK from the little I lived in the US, it is “a fair country” where you should pay for your shit. You have opportunities still to make money.

What happened not so long ago is the overreaching of government and tax increase. And, obviously, inflation.

I am thinking about moving to Chile or Uruguay, make sure I have tax exemption via external company activities, and live there in peace. Especially in Uruguay, they can’t afford to verify and validade everyone. It is a calm country, but government there started to overreach as well. It is a trend. The difference is there you can own guns and land. This changes the game
