Life started a bit rough for the first calf of the year. A tiny heifer born prematurely and in rough weather. On day three she was so weak that we thought she wouldn’t make it. But after a couple of days of bottle feeding, and several reminders about who really is the mother, things got better and the calf now finds the teets on its own.
