Something landed for me tonight whilst talking to Tip_NZ before she performed at the Mi Premier Bitcoin Annual fundraiser. Something I know but didn’t know in my bones until she said it.

Me: “I love El Salvador and the people are so welcoming. But they are selling their property at what is a big profit for them and they won’t be able to buy it back in the future. They might not like us new expats as much when they can’t afford to live on the beach anymore.”

Tip: “Not if they sell it for Bitcoin.”

Me-in-my-head: “OMG, of course. They just need to understand that.”
