Postpartum is going to be so much easier because neither my husband nor I will need to worry much about preparing or thinking about dinner. 😇

I’ve made large batches of food that will last us weeks and I’ll keep prepping over the next few days. So far, I’ve made:

• Cottage pie

• Chicken curry

• Mini quiches

• Protein oat balls

Next (and final) on my list:

• Chicken soup

• Beef stew

• Bolognaise

• Bone broth

Winning! I also did this/do this. My favourite comfort foods; Pork Goulash, Beef Bourguignon, Chicken Tikka, Bone Broth, Stocks and Rye Cookie Dough. I always feel so smug when I’m whipping out a home cooked meal in 5 minutes. Your future self will be so grateful! How long do you have left?

That all sounds delicious. Especially the goulash, that’s a great one! I am now considering fitting in a sneaky goulash too.

Isn’t it just such a good feeling? I already feel so smug about it 😂 I get so happy just looking at my deep freezer with all my goodies in there!

Pretty much 2 weeks until the due date, though I’m really hoping he comes before then. These last few weeks have been a bit of a struggle, despite my joy and excitement. I’m so ready.
