watching an interview with Russell Brand, and Im reminded that the 3 letter agencies are not defenders of democracy, freedom, or the People. They are really not much different from mob enforcers who protect existing power and money using murder, crime, dishonesty, and blackmail.

The primary difference between them and the Mob, is that we fund them with taxes, and they hide behind a “defenders of freedom” mask which is facilitated by hiring a bottom layer of young people with good intentions, and letting them do good things that never actually threaten the real power base, which is protected at the top.
