I've been lurking in /r/BuyFromEU, and it's a real-time illustration of how people (particularly lefties) continuously screw themselves.

It starts with folks wanting to spend less money in the US. They aim to buy goods & services from Europe, and to lesser extent Canada and Australia. Respectable long term goal — so far, so good.

Then dipshits show up saying we should boycott American English pronunciation and spelling. Realistic goals undermined by unserious, inconsequential theater. 🤐
