I know some Amish because I used to leave near some and we bought vegetables from them. 😂
I like them.
But there is always that uncomfortable element of 1000 mile stare in a 10 foot room.
They're everywhere, up near the Pennsylvania line. And even more Mennonites and a few hardy Catholics hanging on to our last piece of real estate for dear life. 🤣
I respect them and the closeness to nature and tight knitness. But just like the unabomber's pencil, paper, and bicycle, they're using modern technology.
