When you waited 3 days to sync a new node and now you have to wait another 3 days for electrumx to sync as well

Why is electrum not fast? I heard there are better indexers out there. I forgot the name.
I think mempool and sparrow only work with electrumx 🤔
From my very quick search. Seems like Sparrow works with Fulcrum.

sparrow works with fulcrum for sure, mempool also worked couple months ago but i heard they made some changes, haven't used it since
I used the guide from raspibolt.org to set up electrs with sparrow a few weeks ago. It's my first node. Blockchain took ~4 days and electrs db seemed like it was significantly shorter...I think 18 hours or so.
Even after NVK and the Start9 dev on last Bitcoin.review pod spoke negatively about using RPi for a node, I just pre-ordered the RPi 5 🤦 Hopefully the increased power to USB bus will eliminate *potential issues with NVMe storage 🤞
Some day I'll grow up and get a real server.
Makes you wonder if paying for high speed fiber connections is worth it
