I love #amethyst but the fact that it doesn't show notification from people that I don't yet follow really annoys me now
Just logged in with plebstr and find out I could have the chance to interact more with plebs on my post. Missing out so much.
Will make the switch to #plebstr until the notification issue resolved
The app does show notifications from everyone.
You might have changed the top bar in Notifications to All Follows. You can click there and revert to Global. You should see Notifications for everyone.

Now I can happily use Amethyst again
