First of all, Bitcoin Maxis didn't get here overnight, most of us took the same path as you. We started not understanding 'Crypto' and are now clearly in the Bitcoin Only camp. But the kicker is, we can back it up. That is the difference between Bitcoin and Crypto. BItcoin is backed by math (machines/numbers) and Crypto is backed by emotions (humans/words.)
No one is 'selling' you on Bitcoin, we can explain it to you but not understand it for you, but just know the smartest and best minds are on board with Bitcoin.
It's not for one reason and certainly not for 'get rich quick' but you have to take the time. Perhaps starting with all the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt)? Bitcoin maxis say, "there is no second best." But why is that? Because every other 20,000+ Crypto Coin was spawned from Mother Bitcoin. What does that mean? It means they (humans) took the perfect code to try and tweak it to make it better, when in fact it was, and still is, already perfect. The things Crypto are trying to fix are what makes Bitcoin what it is and why it is at the top.
You have to dig, we are not here to sell you on Bitcoin, we just want you to study it. This is not a "get a cup of coffee" and learn about Bitcoin. Just like you were forced to take Driver's Ed to learn to drive, you need to learn about Bitcoin. My profession is to turn data into information, but you as a human take it to knowledge then to power. With Bitcoin, you are the CFO of your family and you are the bank.

I have organized about 500 hours in one post. This is not an accident. As a 26 year National Level Cancer Patient advocate, that was no accident but I had to put 10,000 hours of volunteer hours in order to go toe to toe with the best cancer researchers in the world. Luckily, Bitcoin is only about the last one. Finances. In the scheme of life that is nothing and that is why Bitcoin is my hobby. To help with the ridiculousness of our Debt addicted society and to help prepare you family in case of that one bad blood test we all unfortunately have a chance to get.
