Solid find, i'm going to be listening and going over this a few times.
Found this really interesting primarily because of Nigel Palmer's idea of doing vinegar extractions. Despite having tanks of cider vinegar hanging around for some reason I never thought this. Sometimes he is doing multiple extractions and getting different results too!?!
So now when I am making a FPJ instead of dumping the plant material straight to the compost heap I am going to be vinegar extracting the remaining plant material and seeing what kind of results I can get with that.

😁 Yeah its going to be a busy old year I have too much to do already but there are some things in that podcast that I'm definitely going to have to try out. Just met someone on Matts who is doing Nigel Palmer's course will have to ask him mote about it next time I see him.
If Nigel hosts another round of the course I'll be joining in.
Going to pickup his book to go through in the mean time though.
I hear ya, this year is stacking up to be a good one, I've been organizing the notes that I've been taking and now working on getting all the sample videos into obsidian and matched up with the corresponding notes.
Next step, studying biochemistry and enzyme production for breaking down our compost. Looking to reduce breakdown time and increase organic compound accumulation. [Humic / Fulvic Acids, Amino Acids, ect]
Hopefully I will being doing the same. Need to sort out obsidian too and use it way more than I am at the moment, any plugins you recommend?
I recieved an email from Nigel and he hosts the course 1 time every year so I'll plan to attend next year.
I'll grab a list of plug-ins that I currently use once I'm off today. I'm still learning them so it's a pretty scarce list at the moment.
Also found a tip:
If you are interested in getting legit copies of scientific research papers.
Instead of paying the $35 USD + per paper.
I've emailed the individuals involved with the publishing, requested a copy of their paper directly from them and so far there has been no issues with them sending a pdf files directly to my email.
Save some coin to stack more sats.
I was thinking it won't sync up but eastern time on a saturday works quite well for me here so if he does the the same next year I will have to give it a go too. Good tip for the research paper!
Do you have a meter that can measure EH that you might recommend? I know they are effectively useless for soil but there are some water based things I wouldn't mind getting a grasp on what is going on with on that side of things. E.g some of these sprays and the biodynamic 501 prep with the quartz.
I just scooped this one up from Ebay a few months ago for a good price, I do need to order calibration solution to make sure it's accurate though.
I was gifted one of these Hanna meters (Hanna Groline HI9814) and it does pH, ORP reading + temp.

It's a more expensive model but seems to do the trick for measurements.
Though I should get some more calibration solution and make sure its still in check. 🤔
If you could use the HM Digital model I have, let me know.
