I read books every day.

I listen to audiobooks often.

I then write about my thoughts on these books.

Well, here's the thing....I'm really behind on that second part. Writing my thoughts on the books I've finished.

Taking half day sometime this week to catch up.

I do both as well but I don't write anything about them. I simply devour them. Books are so much better imo vs films. With books we get to be the imagination director in our minds.

I should read more, but it’s hard for me to remain consistent and actually finish a book.

Have you figured out why that is?

I have my days when I try to read and nothing sticks. Either the book isn't that great or I'm distracted. So I move on to another book until I'm fully gripped.

I haven't thought too much as to why that is. But I just assume, some books are a chore. Even when I dont enjoy a book, rarely do I feel like it was a complete waste of time. It does happen, but rarely.

I’m not sure, I just feel like my life is a bit hectic. It’s not a lack of interest, but I’m also easily distracted.

Agreed πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ’―

Books are like watching your fave movie but has extra chapters rich with art & color that you don't get watching the movie.

My TV is background noise while I work....99% of the time.

I have not read a novel in almost 4 years. Mostly non-fiction thanks to #bitcoin

Think I'm going to check out some of my old fave authors to see what kind of work they've been pushing out.
