imagine a cellular phone with no apps and seamless integration with social media networks that effectively blocks those companies from collecting excessive data.

pretend the app grid is dead and your home screen is like a beautiful piece of art that responds to you. you're in awe at the advanced simplicity of an intuitive AI-centered operating system which renders applications useless.

we felt wonder when we first saw the iPhone, but that feeling is gone. there is no pleasure in boxes. siri occasionally butts into conversations even when you don't say "hey". her voice is robotic and nobody talks about her anymore.

we need to think about click paths and lessen the struggle between the user and the interface. swiping is making us retarded. the goal should be less usage of the thumbs. more voice and more personality. why can't my phone read books and articles to me?

WHY CAN'T MY PHONE READ THE ROOM.
