Not much, but could see if I could try and talk you out of it.

Ask to pray with/for you even if you didn't believe in that sort of thing.

Let you know that even if it doesn't seem like it there is someone who needs you in their life and you have a good purpose in life you may just need to reexamine it

however, i made a promise to a stranger

and also, why would i miss reading all the obits over the next couple decades

You didn't say you wouldn't be okay with me praying with/for you though. So that's a start.
