Also, kind 1 events are not allowed as comments to other kinds of events as defines in NIP-10 and NIP-23. But it seems everyone ignores that. For longform posts and anything else, NIP-22 kind 1111 events have to be used.

I ignore that too for now bcs kind 1 is the only source of comments on most sites now, without them all comments sections will be empty.
I think I know why they wanted kind 1111 events as comments on other event kinds. Because it overloads most Nostr apps that are mainly focused on kind 1 notes.
