Well as far as I understand the only goal is to create more dollars at home for the military industrial financial complex, sometimes a few idiots are sent overseas to engage in fighting sometimes not. But that is not important to the current ruling class. All that matters is the more dollars from the ever rising budget deficit find their way into their pockets. If no further positiv cash flow is to be expected they pull out like in Afganistan. Leaving the willing idiots who helped america to be slauthered.
