Eating proper amounts of high-quality protein is definitely an important key, but I would agree so is eating proper carbohydrates, otherwise you’ll find within an hour of your work out, you’reyou’re burning out and slowing down, which is not good if you’re trying to grow muscle size. With that said, bear in mind that all of these guys were using roids when in training for competition.

The highest quality animal foods are paramount. Milk, eggs, organs, gelatinous cuts, shellfish, etc...

And also plenty of natural sugars to keep the metabolism, thyroid, and sex hormone systems healthy.
