I don't know anything about #meshtastic but have been excited to look into it. Pretty much guaranteed if it's freedom tech the state will disrupt it if they can. (Can they?)
The FCC is considering a proposal that would likely disrupt the radio band in which #meshtastic operates. I've recently begun to use this technology, and it fits squarely in the freedom tech arsenal.
I encourage you to read this article (1st link) and submit your comments to the FCC (2nd link).

They can’t. But what they can do is, suggest through back channels to a government contractor to make a bid for technology that will conveniently use the exact frequencies used by meshtastic.
Then suggest to appointed agency heads that approving the bid is in the interest of National Security, and their career.
Thanks! I get the ridiculous way it will be sold (and that we'll all be paying for it 😖); it's the mechanics I want to understand. If a contractor uses those frequencies, that will disrupt meshtastic use?
