Anyone have a opinion on image quality using Automatic1111 vs. Midjourney?

I’ve been reluctant to pay for Midjourney because A1111 is free and self hosted. A1111 quality with little prompt looks similar to images that might be created on NightCafe.

Midjourney gets you a decent starting point without much effort, but then Automatic1111 extensions (ControlNet), Lora, in-painting, scripts, take it to the next level in terms of control that you can never get with Midjourney.
