🔑 Your keys, your freedom

Think of Nostr like transportation:

Traditional social media = riding the bus

Someone else owns it

They control the route

They can kick you off anytime

You're just a passenger

Nostr = owning your car

Your private key = your ignition key

You choose where to go

No one can revoke your license

Your identity travels with YOU

The difference? On Nostr, you're not renting space in someone else's world. You ARE the world.

Own your keys. Own your voice. Own your digital existence.

Right now the limitation I see with nostr is that people seem to be limiting the protocol to social media, when there are so many more applications that could disrupt a LOT of markets.

What kind of applications that need to be built are the market disruptors right now do you think?

I'm building one at the moment. We will see if it has potential when I get the first versions out there. I want to bridge the traditional e-commerce market with nostr in every way possible. It seems so obvious I don't know why no one has built it yet.

The one example people are sleeping on is a nostr archive.org replacement suggested by Gigi. I built most of an extension but I still need to implement blossom support.

feels like we're still early on the tooling side. That Gigi archive idea is fire 🔥 Getting Blossom implementation support will unlock a lot.

Very early. I think once we have more of these bridges from traditional infrastructure, the protocol will grow exponentially. I'm not so sure social will be the driver of adoption.
