I should not install any extensions, so how do I securely login?

is anyone using nostr this way?

Run Snort on Umbrel or Iris on Start9. You'll need to plug your nsec into the browser.

so you mean use a #FOSS #nostr client with #torbrowser, so that the keys are relatively safe.

But then what is the point of using #tor since the client is under my control and possibly on local network anyway. Would then the client not expose the IP anyway?

Or do I have it wrong?

I'm not sure. It depends if you exit through a spook exit node. I think that's a low probability, but I have a friend who thinks differently.
