Played a show with them at The Legion of Doom in Columbus, OH in ‘97.

I remember the day very well because I snuck out of that place after we played (frowned upon at punk shows) to zip down the street to catch Dave Grisman.

I got half a block and I was stopped by 7-8 hippies who pelted me with water balloons and insults from their front yard. I started to tell them “I’m one of you! I’m heading to the Grisman show! The Math Rock is a front: I’m a Deadhead!” They didn’t buy it and I was met with many, many more balloons.
