I wonder if there was a network like us here that was trying to spread the internet in mid nineties ? Was it usenet ? #askNostr ?

It was very Wild West, with lots of excitement. Communities formed around apps/services like AOL, Prodigy, and CompuServe. This seems similar here with Damus, Primal, etc.
