It’s difficult to explain how “foreign” Australia has become in just 2 decades. It’s more economic zone than country nowadays. 
It’s totally bizarre. I don’t understand “big Australia” policy at all.
What’s more perplexing is that ~20mil other Australians appear to either be ignoring it or just not upset enough to do something about it??
It’s the only thing keeping the #HousingPonzi economy going.
Victoria puts “The Education State” on its number plates which today basically means the centre of slave labour immigration of people coming on fake student visas to do low paid jobs to send money back to India and Nepal. Education is the main “industry” let alone export.
The Gov needs the students to work cash jobs at petrol stations and 711s and cafes because business owners can’t afford minimum wage, and those bodies need to sleep somewhere so there is constant upwards pressure on rental demands ensuring the Boomer negative geared property portfolios don’t collapse.
Everyone knows it’s all a sham, but nobody is willing to stop it lest they wipe out the whole system which will be the result of a proper recession having not had one for 3 decades.
Australia is Ireland + Greece + Cyprus + Iceland + a shit sundae with a cherry on top, just waiting to happen.
How long are we going to keep doing this though? 
Until it catastrophically breaks.
They’ll send the dollarydoo to .35, open new visa pathways for Chinese money laundering, up FHB grants to $1M, allow intergenerational mortgages, sell the country to Blackrock; literally whatever it takes to ensure the Gov of the day aren’t the ones in charge when the #HousingPonzi collapses.
