Sorry yes I was wrong there, racism can be clearly seen as early as Shakespeare's plays – against Othello, as well as antisemitism. However unless some incredible future extinction event happens it seems very unlikely that humanity will continue to speciate much.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Race-formation is incipient speciation, and race-formation, like thunderhead-formation in high summer, is always on the horizon, always happening. The major, long-term trend of all Life is not convergence, but its opposite, divergence. We cannot fight the long-term trend, nor should we. It would be the greatest imaginable sin against the Life Force.
