I'm at the 2nd episode of the 1968 Prisoner series. 'They' have created an illusion of the free world with a recording of the big ben chiming to fool the prisoner into admitting the reason he resigned - 'opt out'.

1. 'They' do not want you to opt out.

2. If you have productive skills and you push, they will simply build a bigger prison, and hide the surveillance.

3. If you call them out, you go back into the cell.

4. A prison cell looks awfully similar to a monk's dorm.

5. We were always free.
