ooh never thought ab that distinction actually.. wrt backups.. does it matter? it's just another note, but encrypted..i guess

It also backups your DMs data, and of course, the content of DMs will be encrypted. You can re-broadcast those events, and once the relay has those events, your client should automatically decrypt them, and you should have all your DMs back.
